  6. TheGallows (Aminet Game/Think/TheGallows.LHA) is a very good
  7. word game for young and old. It is simple to play, but tough to
  8. beat. If you have children, GET the file. I am sure they will
  9. spend many hours expanding their vocabulary (there are some
  10. really long words).

  12. TheGallows was written by Joseph C. Rattz, Carson Enterprises.
  13. to my knowledge, it has never been updated or revised by him
  14. or anyone else. I would if I could but I can't. A player history
  15. file (wons and losses) would be wonderful.

  17. This archive includes Searchguide by Gerard Cornu. It is also
  18. on the Aminet. A quick search will find it.
  19.  
  20. Searchguide is the engine that drives the cheat function.
  21.  
  22. If you download this file, you will get the idea real quick.
  23. Very simple, but also very efective within limits.
  24.  
  25. Also, includes an expanded Gallowwords data file filling out
  26. some letters short on words.

  28. I wrote this project for my lady friend who really likes and
  29. plays TheGallows often. Gets her out of sticky word situations.

  31. Any progammers out there (with the permission of Mr. Rattz)
  32. update the program and add new features.
  33.  
  34. Really needs OS 3.0 + to really work right. Has some 3.0 functions 
  35. not supported by lower OS versions.
